Hi Everybody!

Friday, February 2nd, 2007

Hi everybody! I’m glad you can come to my website. My name is H.o.p. and I am nine years old. I still don’t know if aliens exist. I thought they could exist but I don’t know yet.

Now, let’s talk about my past. I used to draw a lot of the time and I am still drawing and learning to do animations. I also would like to do movies. I’m good at making up characters but I don’t know what should happen. I have plans to do a lot of animations like Robin Hood and The World of the Aliens and Lord of the Flies (only not ugly). I would like to do an animation of Red Wall but my mother says the characters belong to someone else, but I like it a lot. I do a lot of storyboards for my movies and I’m trying to choose which one can be perfect.

Right now I’m interested in arachnids like scorpions. Only the scorpion, because bugs freak me out.

I like to watch the animations at Animation ID. I’m watching one of the animations of a man named Gene Kelly dancing with Jerry the mouse from Tom and Jerry. How can he dance like that, with a cartoon character? My mom says that they drew Jerry in. I think it’s amazing!

I will be putting up some old art work and animations and then I will soon be making some new ones and putting them up.

Bye for now.

P.S. I hope you’ll want to comment! The first time you comment you’ll have to wait to see it because mom has it set so she approves first time commentors.

Dino Attack

Friday, February 2nd, 2007

Hooray! The first video’s here. Dino Attack! Wow. I made this stop animation myself. I like Legos very much and this is a Lego animation. You can create lots of things with Legos. Even your own kind of monster. Even a giant fearless scorpion! I am soon going to get a Lego set with a scorpion with my allowance. The Lego set has people fighting against a giant scorpion.

Now, let’s get to talking about the video. Well, it’s the first video and the second video is coming soon. It will be a lot longer and have more frames. I don’t use enough frames yet so my animations are jerky but soon I’ll use enough frames.

This stop animation is where some people try to stop the dinosaurs. I did it with Dino Attack that I got for Christmas.

I have a lot of older videos I’ll be posting too.

Stills are archived here.

A Life of Animals

Friday, February 2nd, 2007

Now this animation is a some clips from episodes of A Life of Animals. Maybe I will put whole episodes up.

Well, the first clip is a cowboy snake trying to get rid of a giant rock monster but his lasso broke and the rock monster fell on him in pieces. The second animation is where some pirate skeletons on the wrecked ship try to get on a big boat but two of the ones on the big boat are getting away. They’re snakes. And the third animation is where a snake finds something really weird up in the sky. Watch these and maybe you’ll see what happens next if I put up the episodes.

Some animations I watch

Saturday, February 3rd, 2007

Let’s get to talking about animation I watch. “Convict Concerto” is about this Woodpecker named Woody. Guess what? The enemy is a robber. I like the animation because it’s funny. The funniest part is when the policeman sits on a lot of money. In the old days they called it dough. And the Woodpecker says, “Psst, there’s the dough. Dough de oh de oh de.” You have to watch the video to see more.

Metropolis

Thursday, February 8th, 2007

Last night I watched Metropolis. My favorite part was when the character noticed what the workers felt like when they were working on the machine, they felt like they were being swallowed by a giant monster. The character was a guy, sort of like a teenager, and he begged his dad to stop the slavery.

I liked the music of the video. It was so incredible. You should rent it from Netflix.

Oh, you don’t know about Netflix but I can tell you about Netflix after I tell you about the video.

It’s supposed to take place in the future. I found out that it was a really old film and some of the parts are missing. But it was still fun. The enemy is this robot. Someone captured a woman and made the robot look a lot like her. And the robot was programmed to be evil. And it made a lot of people like slaves go wild and nasty and they even left their children behind.

At the end the robot gets destroyed.

Netflix is where they have a lot of incredible videos you can rent.

The First Animation That I’ll Be In That I’ll Make Soon

Friday, February 9th, 2007

You’ll be amazed by this. I’m going to make an animation that I’m in. It’s about a woodpecker and a canadian goose and thier friend, wolf. And the troublemaker is a black scorpion, since black scorpions are kind of scary. But there’s another scorpion who’s a kind of good guy. It’s supposed to take place in the duck park where I go to feed the ducks. The ducks like me and I bring bread so they can eat.

Guess what? At Animation ID they have a clip from “Destination Moon” which is a Woody Woodpecker cartoon where they’re explaining about rockets. We got the same thing from Netflix except it was the whole movie. I liked it very much but I felt bad that it wasn’t a really long Woody the Woodpecker animation. I liked “Destination Moon” very much.

I have one more thing to say. The nasty scorpion’s sidekick is going to be a poltergeist called Sinister. They’ll be making a deadly liquid for the scorpion to have in his tail to catch his prey.

The poltergeist will come out of polluted air and no one can stop him because they just go right through him. Only nice air can defeat him, like air from the countryside. But he lives where the air is all polluted by lots of people except me.

OK, that’s all now.
